In the surroundings you can enjoy nature by a walk through the newly landscaped area or by bike to follow one of the many routes. What do you think for example of a bicycle tour of the nursery area of Boskoop with a visit to the nursery-museum?

 

The center of Alphen aan den Rijn is a 10 minutes drive. There are plenty of restaurants and terraces to find, but you can also go shopping or to the cinema.

 

At a stone’s throw away from Maria’s Lust is the archeological park Archeon and the bird park Avifauna is also in Alphen aan den Rijn available.

If you want to go out, the big cities are in half an hour to reach. Or you can go to the North Sea beach, which is splendid, even when the weather is not that good.
